Paint Fumes

The odors arising from the paint fumes

are not unpleasant;

they mark a new beginning

for the kitchen being painted;

they are a memory of family

and friends

working together

to create

where more good memories can be created.

  1. Raani York says:

    Very nice, Lorraine.
    I too am reminded to a certain situation or happening in my past – only by smells. And as long as they’re good smells, they make me smile. ๐Ÿ™‚ Mom’s cookies… the smell of hay – or the smell of coming rain on a hot summer day…

    • Lorraine Marie Reguly says:

      Thanks, Raani. The aroma of fresh homemade bread or chocolate chip cookies come to mind, too! ๐Ÿ™‚

      Er… um… a bad smell, however, would have to be a skunk. Eeeuuww!
