A Little Piece of Heaven + A Note To My Readers

Is heaven up there somewhere?

Is heaven up there somewhere?

Beyond the highest mountain,

Beyond the furthest cloud,

There lays a little piece of heaven

to which I have vowed.

Beyond the roaring ocean,

Beyond the deep blue sea,

There lays a little piece of heaven

which is reserved for me.

Beyond the darkest, blackest sky,

Beyond the brightest shining star,

There lays a little piece of heaven

which can be worshipped from afar.

Beyond the whitest, fullest moon,

Beyond the penetrating rays of the sun,

There lays a little piece of heaven

where all great love can be won.

NOTE to my readers: I know I have not posted regularly to this blog for a while, and I still cannot offer you any idea of when I WILL be posting. I will try to post at least once per week from now on, though. Please don’t get mad at me if I don’t, and thank you for reading my poetry.

One favour, though. . . could you take a few seconds to hit a few “sharing buttons” for me? I sure would appreciate it – and it just might give me some motivation to post fresh poems for you. Thanks!

You could always share your thoughts in the comment section, too.

BTW, yesterday was my first blogoversary of Lorraine Reguly’s Life. You may not want to read this, but I thought I would share it with you anyway. It was a big day for me!

I like this poem very much. In particular the rhythm and rhyme. Well done, Lorraine!!
I do normally share posts, but not when I’m at the office reading them, since most platforms are unavailable due to security reasons.
I hope you will forgive me!

Of course I can forgive you! Thanks for the compliment. 🙂 I’ve been ignoring this blog long enough, and so felt really guilty today and decided to start paying attention to it again.

I’m just happy someone likes my poetry!

Some may interpret this as related to lesbian love, some may not.

That’s the cool thing with poetry; it’s open to interpretation!
